Member Profile: Dr Salah eddine Haddou
Dr Salah eddine Haddou is an International Olympic Committee (IOC) Sports Nutritionist from Morocco. His passion for sports in general and football, in particular led him to join Hassania Union Sports Club of Agadir in June 2017 where he implemented the first Sports Nutrition and Dietetics unit in professional Moroccan football. He is known for promoting a food first approach in facing nutritional challenges such as dehydration, fuelling, recovery, and special monitoring during the holy month of Ramadan for Muslim players.
Dr Salah eddine Haddou has an experience of more than 20 years as a pharmacist, and he recently completed the IOC Program in Drugs in Sports. Thanks to this achievement, he implements science based, doping free supplementation within other strategies to optimize body composition in football players and enhance their performance via changing their individual nutritional behavior.
Recently, Dr Salah eddine Haddou co-founded Nutrisense, a consulting company specialising in sports nutrition providing services for several institutions such as the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, Moroccan Royal Federation of Triathlon, Moroccan Royal Federation of Swimming, and Professional Soccer Clubs such as Wydad of Casablanca, Moghreb de Fez and recently Fath Union Sports of Rabat.
